- The Board noted attendance, apologies, and disclosure of interests and any potential or actual conflicts related to matters on the agenda.
- The Board dealt with administrative matters, received reports from the Chair and Chief Executive Officer and received jurisdictional updates.
Strategic matters
Consideration of preliminary draft business plan for 2025-26
- The Board considered a preliminary draft business plan for next financial year and noted that an updated draft would be prepared for formal endorsement prior to future consideration by Building Ministers.
Prefab and modular work program
- The Board noted the proposed project, opportunities and risks.
- A Board Steering Committee will support the Office with this work.
ABCB national guidance for compliance of fire bolts in fire rated doors
- The Board noted emerging concerns from fire authorities about fire bolts.
- The Board agreed this is a high priority matter and directed the ABCB Office to prepare further advice for consideration at the May meeting.
