The WaterMark Schedule of Products contains a list of plumbing and drainage products that are included in the WaterMark Certification Scheme. It also lists the specification to which the products can be certified.
A material or product intended for use in contact with drinking water must comply with AS/NZS 4020 in accordance with Part A of the National Construction Code Volume Three - the Plumbing Code of Australia (PCA). From time to time the WaterMark Administration may issue Notices of Direction (NoD) which relevant stakeholders must comply with. Any NoD published which may be of relevance to a product or product specification listed on this Schedule has been identified.
From 1 May 2023 a three year transition period will commence for certain products to comply with the Lead Free requirements of the PCA 2022 by 1 May 2026. A ‘Lead Free applies’ column has been added to the Schedule to identify these products. For further details refer to the ABCB News article Update: Advice on the new lead requirements and Notice of Direction 2021/4.2 Certification transition arrangements for Lead Free plumbing products.
The specifications referenced in this Schedule are periodically reviewed and updated. Between editions, amendments may be issued and specifications withdrawn. It is important that readers assure themselves they are using a current specification, which could include any amendments which may have been published since the specification was obtained.
